I think it took about 2 and a half weeks at least. But it's kinda hard to say since i was'nt the only one working on it. The base mesh for the character body was modeled by a teamate and so was the treehouse in the background. The concept sketch was also done before hand by another concept artist.
Nice backgrounds. Although the character's face kind of scares me.
Isn't that pose more fitting if the weapon was a crossbow? Unless it's just for posing shenanigans which it may very well be, holding the bow like that seems to be less practical. Even the arrow placement is a bit off - that's not going to shoot straight...
Yeah i agree. It does bother me too. Hehe! For it to be a more 'realistic' pose his right arm should be underneat, palm facing up. But for this particular project the AD wanted to see the bracers, so i took a chance with that pose. The excuse i give myself is that he was startled and had no time to draw is arrow right.
Fair enough! And for all we know he's halfway through the movement of bringing his bow into position. The bow being off doesn't look bad, I could just tell something doesn't look right, but you're right there are lots of explanations as to why it could be like that!
